For a while, they will allow you to regenerate and fly, carry a bottomless backpack with ammunition or fuel, enter the super bullet-time, and even throw a miniature black hole. Shortcuts - will allow you to start immediately from the upper levels, if you already got to them ones. However, the last boss will require passage from the beginning!
